This course introduces students to the evolving role of artificial intelligence and emerging media in today’s digital art ecosystem; not just as tools, but as transformative forces in how art is created, valued, distributed, and owned. Balancing theory and practice, students will explore how to use AI creatively while maintaining artistic originality, navigate ethical concerns, and understand how emerging platforms are shaping the future of the art market.
Participants will gain foundational knowledge of AI art tools, experiment with hybrid creative processes, and develop strategies to monetize and ethically promote their work in digital environments; all while critically reflecting on the meaning of originality and authorship in the age of machine-generated content.
